I’ve always had a special love for interior design, but honestly never imagined I’d be able to bring all of my ideas to life, especially for this dreamy boho nursery. While under Covid lockdown, I spent every minute of breastfeeding creating in-depth PDF files designing what our dream home could look like (I know, I’m a nerd). We were shopping for the perfect home across the country sight-unseen at the time and I thought this was the perfect way to manifest what we hoped for. It worked!
As soon as I began planning our baby girl’s Bohemian neutral nursery I knew it had to include some type of bookshelves. I searched Pinterest for all sorts of inspiration and immediately came to the perfect conclusion: a picture ledge book shelf! That’s where the Fat Lippie Picture Ledge Shelf, by Shelfology came in. You can choose among literally thirty different colors and pick your desired depth and length. Every single one of their shelves is customizable and absolutely amazing quality!
This wall is now one of my favorites, and includes so many special items that aren’t just books. I’ve added a sign, our Hooray Heroes book of my son and daughter, the Love Powered Co affirmation deck for children, along with a gorgeous work of art made from sand from Coronado Island (which will forever be near and dear to our family’s hearts). I love that so many different pieces fit the shelves and this can be a statement piece as I move things around over the years!
