![Want to hear something crazy? I used to walk with my head down, barely noticing anything going on around me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It made me a target, easy to be manipulated, unable to stick up for myself or hold my ground.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Until I began to heal, and caught myself constantly looking at the ground instead of the beauty around me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I began to hold my chin up, shifting my energy with it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It took time… I was so uncomfortable + worried what people around me would think or say. But no one even seemed to notice.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The changes were internal (and huge).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And so, I’ll continue to lift my chin + teach my kids to do the same.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So I began to hold my chin up, shifting my energy with it.
